This policy explains how The Business Whisperer Ltd, trading as MarketingDone4U ("we", "us"), collects and uses personal data when you visit marketingdone4u.com, make an enquiry, complete one of our questionnaires or buy a service from us.

What we collect and why

1. Enquiries and questionnaires

When you use our contact form, start form or a service questionnaire, we collect what you type in. Depending on the form this can include your name, business name, email address, phone number, details about your website, marketing goals, budgets and any other information you choose to share, including account or login details you provide so we can carry out work for you.

We use this to respond to your enquiry, prepare your quote and deliver the service you have asked about. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) and, for follow-up communications, our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

2. Payments

If you buy a service through the site, payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We receive confirmation of the payment and basic order details. See Stripe's privacy policy.

3. Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. Analytics cookies are off by default and only run if you accept them in the cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for details and how to change your choice at any time.

4. Emails and calls

If you email or call us, we keep the correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and maintain our records.

Where your data goes

Form submissions are delivered to our inbox and stored in our customer relationship management (CRM) system so we can manage your enquiry properly. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site and our business, including our web hosting provider (UK-based), our form delivery provider, our CRM platform and Stripe for payments. Each provider only processes data on our instructions. Some providers (for example Google and Stripe) may process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are protected by UK-approved safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent (analytics cookies, marketing emails) you can withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@marketingdone4u.com. We respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Marketing

We only send marketing emails if you have asked for them (for example by subscribing to our newsletter). Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by emailing us.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to your data is limited to the people who need it to deal with your enquiry or deliver your service, and our systems are protected by authentication and access controls.

We will update this page whenever our practices change and revise the date at the top.
